Air-Insulated Modular Cell

Modular cubicles are medium voltage switching devices up to 36 kV intended for indoor use such as in concrete transformer substations, secondary distribution systems and industrial installations.

All the cells needed for an interruption center can be easily installed according to demand.

Being products tested in the factory, their installation and electrifications are very easy to carry out.

Sectioning and breaking operations are carried out under SF6 gas. The busbar is air insulated. Thus the dimensions of the cells decrease while security increases.

HMH series modular cubicles have 4 compartments separated from each other by metal plates:

  1. Cable and switch compartment
  2. Busbar compartment
  3. Operating Mechanism Compartment
  4. LV compartment

CABLE AND SWITCH COMPARTMENT

The cables are connected to the connection terminal located under the earthing switch. This compartment contains either the load-break switch or the circuit breaker and the earthing switch. Fuse and fuse holders will be added in fuse protection cells.

The switch is in the epoxy resin tank and remains completely separated from the busbar compartment and the cable connection compartment with a sheet metal separation.

BUSBAR COMPARTMENT

The busbar compartment ensures the transmission of energy between the panels using 3 bars. Access to the busbar compartment is via the top of the cubicle.

OPERATING MECHANISM COMPARTMENT

This compartment contains the operating mechanisms of the switches, circuit breakers and earthing switches. Optionally, motorization and additional locks can be added.

LOW VOLTAGE COMPARTMENT

The LV compartment is equipped with different types of protection, control and measurement devices according to customer requirements. The control and observation devices are located at an easily accessible height for the operators. Connections of the BT cables for the auxiliary power supply and the interlocks are easy to make thanks to the adapted design.
