SEPARABLE CONNECTORS STRAIGHT AND ANGLED CSD/CSE
FOR A-250A INTERFACE PLUG-IN BUSHINGS, UP TO 24 kV WITH INTEGRATED SEALING
TE Connectivity (TE) completes its range with the new generation of CSD/CSE 250A separable straight and angled connectors in EPDM for A interface plug-in bushings.
Separable TE straight and angled CSD/CSE connectors are designed to connect single-core cables with synthetic insulation to a MV distribution board or other devices (electrical transformer) equipped with A interface plug-in bushings designed for a continuous current of 250A at 24 kV.
CSD/CSE connectors comply with the NF C33-051 standard, qualified according to the HD 629.1 S3 standard and meet Enedis requirements for the French HTA network. This equipment is the subject of an authorization for use under the reference 18 E 096 /HT.
Consisting of an EPDM body, the CSD and CSE connectors can be used for both indoor and outdoor installations, even in the most extreme conditions, while offering excellent electrical and mechanical performance.
The casing of the separable connectors is earthed via its conductive coating allowing safe and reliable operation. In addition, the field deflector cone, which features an integrated seal, allows for quick and easy installation.
The use of the mechanical tightening coupling equipped with 2 stepped screws allows quick and reliable installation. The connectors are equipped with a capacitive divider to determine the presence of voltage in the cable for an optimal level of safety to protect operators against electrical hazards.

Standards
TE’s CSD/CSE separable connectors comply with the NF C33-051 standard, qualified according to the HD 629.1 S3 standard and meet the NFC requirements for the French HVA network according to the table of technical characteristics below. They are intended for synthetic insulated cables NF C33-226, UTE C33-223, NF C33-223, HN 33-S-23, NF C33-220 and HN 33-S-22 with rated voltage 12/20 (24) kV.
The mechanical tightening fittings supplied with the separable connectors have been qualified according to standard XP C 33-091-2 for aluminum or copper cable cores according to the sections indicated in the table below.
