Withdrawable cell (Metal Clad Cell)
Shielded cells (Metal-Clad) are medium voltage cut-off devices. They consisted of 3 main compartments, 1 auxiliary compartment separated from each other by metal plates, having a removable connection element.
The main parts of a primary cell are:
BUSBAR COMPARTMENT
Busbar compartment is made of metal which ensures the transmission of energy between the panels. This is the part where the conductors that resist high currents or short circuits and the epoxy insulators that fix these currents to the panel are located. Each cubicle busbar can be easily assembled by entering the top compartment.
If necessary, without removing the metal shutters or boxes, entry to the busbar compartment can be achieved by removing the front plate. By using the busbar combination instruments, the widening of the panel to both parts can be done easily.
CIRCUIT BREAKER COMPARTMENT
The medium voltage operating devices (SF6 or vacuum circuit breaker, vacuum conductors) and the cradle carrying these devices are located in this compartment. The metal shutters are also located in this part to separate the busbar and circuit breaker sections.
According to customer requests, voltage transformers and medium voltage leads can be located in the cradle. For power continuity, circuit breakers used in boxes with the same current levels can be changed easily and quickly. A mobile shutter system has been created which ensures flexibility of movement to take the circuit breaker to the service position, without any constraint and that it closes securely for the test position. When the circuit breaker cradle is grounded by ground bus, it is connected with the main ground.
With an interlock system, the earthing switch cannot be closed when the circuit breaker is in the service position.
Condition information from the circuit breakers is carried by a socket stud system to the low voltage panel. The circuit breakers are tested in the cell according to IEC62271-100
LOW VOLTAGE COMPARTMENT
This part is equipped with different types of protection relays, control and measurement devices according to customer demands. It is enclosed in a grounded metal box to prevent damage to operator or equipment. Control and observation devices are located in a convenient position for easy operation.
The connection of the cables between the auxiliary contact and lock panels can be done easily. The unit diagrams are comprehensible and they are located in the circuit breaker door and the low voltage compartment surface.
CABLE COMPARTMENT
Switching devices such as current and voltage transformers, insulators of the epoxy box which allows the transition to the circuit breaker compartment, the earthing switch, lightning arresters, capacitive insulators are located in this part.
If necessary, it is easy to change the measurement transformers thanks to its cradled structure. The cables are fixed to the bottom of the panel.
The cable compartment is created for front and rear entry (after completion of mechanical and electrical locking) considering the comfort of use and the different dimensions of the structure. This safety had been proven according to IEC 62271-200 IAC: type A FLR

SECURITY
- Pressure release covers are located highest, being IAC class A FLR.
- All maneuvers can be done only when the door is closed.

- Circuit breaker tests were performed in the panel.
- Equipped with Class E2 earth switch which can close 5 times on short circuits.
MECHANICAL LOCK
- The circuit breaker door can only be opened when the circuit breaker is in the test position.
- Circuit breaker cannot be taken into service without securing circuit breaker cradle.
- The breaker door cannot be closed unless the voltage drop jag is attached.
- Circuit breaker cannot be taken into service unless the circuit breaker door is closed
- The circuit breaker door cannot be accepted inside unless the earthing switch is open.
- The rear door cannot be opened unless the earth switch is closed.
ELECTRIC LOCK
- The earthing switch can only be checked if the circuit breaker is in the test or service position.
- The earthing switch can only be closed if the circuit breaker is in service.
- The rear door of the entrance cell cannot be opened unless the power of the previous station is cut off.
- The rear door of the output cell cannot be opened unless the circuit breaker cradle has been taken to the test position.
- The closing order cannot be given to the circuit breaker without closing the door.
